I was watching the Jackets v Wild game last night and noticed Fedorov was wearing a XXX glove on his left hand and an MIA on his right

Federov has always been a fanatic about his gear. Always looking for something better, different. Has always done this with gloves. However I can only remember him wearing Grafs, First generation Nike (contract) and now 1-90 skates. But I dont think that those are even true 1-90's. They have that same heel as the Vapor XXX that a lot of other Pro's are wearing.

I saw the XXX last night and assumed they were both XXXs, guess not. The man is very picky. He had MiAs for part of last season, and some other gloves too early on. He's also switched back and forth between the Fules and Dolomites and switches holders on his skates depending on what he thinks the ice is like. Either way it worked...4 points and I think a +4 on the night. There was a thread a while ago on player's wearing two differen gloves, think it was asked about a Wild player.

Adam Oates wore two different gloves, at least at the end of his career. It had something to do with a wrist injury, and one glove was tighter than another.

yeah it was Wes Walz. he wore one MIA and one Eagle... so just about the same glove.

Interesting that he is wearing them. Apparently ATL's staff was pissed that the gloves were not uniform last year.

If you look through the sequence of photos, you see that he goes from a Warrior stick to a Mission stick, as well as one XXX glove and one MIA glove to two MIA gloves.

Wes Walz of the Wild also doest the different gloves....a CCM and an MIA (for awhile he had an easton with an MIA and also two different colored MIAs. I always thought people did it because they liked tighter gloves on their top hand....but in fedorovs cause i have no clue.
