Jason Harris 31 Report post Posted December 2, 2006 Well, you might want to fughedabout Fenway also. I found this on a site called intix.org, regarding 2007 prices for 80% of the stadium:"Last season, field boxes, almost all of which go to season ticket-holders, cost $90 for those who paid in full by an early December deadline, $95 for those who paid after the deadline.Given that the standard practice has been to raise prices in increments of $5, there appears to be a strong likelihood the Sox will be selling field box seats for at least $100 in 2007, though Steinberg stressed that decision has not yet been made. The Sox already have some seats priced $100 or more. Right field roof deck seats ranged from $90 to $115 (with a $25 food allowance), while Green Monster seats ranged from $90 to $130, with the highest price charged for first-row seats at select games, such as a Yankee s series. The least-expensive seat at Fenway will remain upper bleachers at $12. Bleachers will stay at $23, outfield grandstand $27, infield grandstand $45, right field box seats $45, loge box $85, and pavilion box $90."What's noticeably absent from these prices are the Premium seats, which The Boston Globe stated last year as: "What was the .406 Club will become a two-level, outdoor seating environment. Row 1, known as the EMC Club, will cost $275 per seat. Row 2, classified as Home Plate Pavilion Club seats, will sell for $190. Other Pavilion Level prices: third base and first base ($150), box ($90), and standing room ($25), and right-field roof table area standing room ($25, $30)."Those seats WILL go up in price in 2007; they just haven't been announced yet. However, after posting $51.1 million for the rights just to negotiate with a Japanese pitcher, I think it's fair to guess the ticket prices might raise by more than a quarter.... JR Boucicaut 3802 Report post Posted December 2, 2006 After all of the years that I had gone to the Stadium and sat 3 rows behind the dugout, last time I went and sat in the bleachers. It was a blast, but damn, no beer! Next time, definitely flasking it up. They don't have metal detectors now, do they? I flask it up at Comerica all the time...don't dare do it at Joe Louis. Thockey17 1 Report post Posted December 2, 2006 It was a blast, but damn, no beer! Next time, definitely flasking it up. They don't have metal detectors now, do they?Thats definately the downside to the bleachers. Nothing like enjoying a cold brew at the stadium. I usually sit in a SkyBox, but the last time i sat in the bleachers with my friends, there were no metal detectors.
