New warrior stick sighting?

Recommended Posts

Ok so i was at one of the CHL allstars vs. the russian selects team games and one of the russian players #6 had a mostly black with yellow highlighs and white writing stick that said warrior on it. Did anyone else see this? anyone know if this is the new warrior sticks we've heard rumours about? if it indeed is a new warrior stick why would this #6 (i cant remember his name) have it?

maybe its the shogun or the chronic?

(i think those are the names)

ohh yea whats efsi?

Not sure what "Efsi" means, but I know that Igor Larionov was involved in the company's creation. It's basically a Russian attempt at hockey equipment, but to my knowledge, most of their stuff is made by other manufacturers. Awhile back some Russians had Efsi gloves (Larionov, Brylin come to mind). I think they were Eagle gloves with the EFSI name on it instead.

i noticed marc savard using a blue warrior stick, it looked like it had the same graphics as my yellow mac daddy but blue. is this just some pro stock thing or is it something different?

im quite sure it was a warrior not an efsi cuz it said warrior in big white letters?I know it said warrior cuz i was at the game in person. No one else watched any of the CHL vs. Russian selects games and saw this?

EFSI sticks still say Warrior or Innovative on them, they just also have other words on them.

Is this it?:

Yes, EFSI is being made from others. Inno sticks, Eagle gloves. Russian branded.

Love the graphics on this stick. I'd take this over a DOLO anyday.

07 MacDaddy is what you saw trevor.

Albeit Savard is using a shaft/blade combo and that's just a prostock thing, the MacDaddy won't be a shaft at retail as far as I know.

Im almost Positive Savard uses an OPS and spraypaints the bottom black.

thanks whbd18 thats the stick in that pic so its just the same as an inno 1100 or dolo?

Both, a Dolomite is a Inno 1100 with the New Inno checkerboard blade. Or it could be something else.

I think by changing the graphics on the warrior dolomite from green to white Text will help sales but most people dont go on what there sticks look like its how they perform.

oh so all the new ones will be blue then?

actually there doing a grip and non-grip versions of the stick so the blue will either be grip or non grip and there grip is called nipple grip if im not mistaken

yeah it looks like savard just paints the blade of his mac daddy -a replacement blade isnt that long

I've seen some long replacement blades for pros. But I definitely think that is painted.

I know 100 percent that Savard uses a OPS painted black at the bottom. Kozlov does the same for the thrashers. i work for the team and im in the locker room all the time. so if you got questions ask away

Wonder if they will bring back the polar fiber finish as a choice of grip. I'd love to see Warrior make a shaft or stick that's rounded off like my Inno 1100 polar fiber.
