Vector hemet appears in the NHL

Did anyone else see Shane Doan was wearing the new CCM helmet last night. It was the Vector helmet for sure with the new CCM logo and everything. It wasnt very good looking, at least on his head.

you can't exactly see much of the helmet in that pic, doesn't look too bad. not too bulky looking, but hey if it protects your head it's all good.

Isn't that one of those 'clear' helmets that CCM put out on the market a couple of years ago (they came in aabout 3-4 'techno' colors)? :lol:

I was at the Coyotes game Monday and was really suprised to see it on Doan as I thought Ovechkin would debut it.

I actually thought it looked pretty good in person. I thought it was pretty funny when it fell off too ;)

I was sitting pretty close and got an okay look, but it is still hard to tell.

watching the sens vs caps game on tsn and ovie is wearing the vector helmet. and they were just talking about the new 10.0 stick because ovechkin broke one on one of his first shots they also mentioned that he had broken 5 in another game :o

As hard as he shoots thats not suprising. Watched him last year in LA before warmups taking wrists shots from the far end of the ice. Taking shots from the dot and he was hitting the glass behind the kings net and it sounded like he was taking a slapshot from the top of the circles. That and pucks hitting the crossbar and going a good 30+ feet in the air.

Has anyone else noticed like 85% of the NHL that wears the CCM helmet wears the old 652, and they stopped selling it to try to sell the fugly 692.

ESPN did a little segment on his new stick, it was alex in the locker room showing off his new stick, he looked so happy like a little kid getting his first ops. it also showed him flexingit, the stick was almost at a 90 degree angle
