It's amazing what you can find floating around in new old stock. Personally, I liked the Micron Air 90s.

Nice. My 10-90s are absolutely shot, and have been for years, but I can't bear to throw them away. They sit in the skate graveyard in the basement.

They goofed on the pics for the Microns, but oh well. I ordered some 12D Daousts and can't wait to get those bastards in the mail.

The 10-90 were the tops with the rest of the line going down 70, and so on. I swear that the median power clip made me skate faster in middle school.

Since the Daousts were mentioned, does anyone know how stiff the 301s were/are? if they are pretty flimsy then I wont get them.I want to get a pair for stick time/pond hockey.

I'm going with 501s (never used any others really and didn't know they had a damn pump skate as well) and if weight is any kind of concern, don't bother. They're leather, heavy and will get heavier as time goes on but they're quality. They're kind of like 707s because they may get weaker around the ankles and that's not usually what I like but for this price, screw it.

Ahh, no worries. Yeah, they're not light by any means but I just have a soft spot for the older models of skates. I'm going to see if I can get my brother swayed into the Microns because he's looking a little Bure-ish as it is. Minus the ability to score.

I am tempted, just because of the look.

I also want to get something to skate outside/recreationally. I figure if they are heavy, maybe they'll make my regular skates seem even lighter.

Plus i am not so excited about sticking my foot into a used pair from play it again.

I'll have to think about it, I need some new gloves and maybe a new wood stick before anything else.

I ordered a pair of Daoust 301s myself. I didn't really want to take a chance on the 601 with the pump, but got a pair of the Kohos as well (they were my first pair of new skates).
