I too am going to Toronto soon, and have some questions for you locals out there, so I thought I'd ask here on this thread rather than making a new one. What hockey stores (and where are they) would be the best for pro stock equipment sticks and gloves? Any help would be really appreciated!

National Sports: Just add Ice Zone - McCowan and 401

Toronto Hockey Store (repair)

Majer Hockey

Dukes Sporting goods

Just Hockey Source For Sports

All are in the yellow pages if you need the phone numbers, also. I'm pretty sure their all on Google as well.

If you're still looking for a place to eat, you should check The Keg. There are like, four, maybe five, in Toronto, but I like the ones on Church Street (just off of Younge and very close to the HHOF) and York Street best.

Buy a City Pass. Two years ago, it was about $45 Cdn for an adult and included six attractions:

Zoo (Huge. Somewhere around 700 acres, I think.)

Science Museum (Also huge)

Casa Loma

Royal Ontario Musuem

CN Tower

Art Museum?

The other thing you might consider doing is taking one of those hop on - hop off tours. It is a fast way of immediately orienting yourself to a new city. I've done it when I first arrive in every major city.

Jason and Chadd - I did NOT know they sold those passes; the things you learn on MSH!! I think I'm going to get them this summer.... might be the last summer where MissD is willing to hang out with me...lol
