In Canada, the nick name for our $1 coin is a "loonie" because it has a loon on the back. Our $2 coin is a "toonie" because it's the equivalent to two loonies. (Even though it has a polar bear on the back.)

So the dialogue at the end is basically,

"How much did we make?"

"I got a couple loonies."

"I got a toonie."

"Cool"

(I guess this means this ad runs in Canada only.)

Edit: By the way, why is a dollar called a "buck"?

Maybe he doesn't know what a loon is. A loon looks a bit like a duck, that sits lower in the water and can actually dive down.

They are getting it..it's all about the players. I think someone said this is a different ad agency than the one that did the Samurai ones from last year.

I see the Sedin spot is edited different so there isn't the reference to the Canadian loonie or toonie. Makes sense.

I like this approach more and more with each new ad.
