On the yellow bar at the top, there is a search button, click it, then search "titles only"

Your search must be at least 4 characters long (avoid words like helmet, skate etc)

I searched Cascade, here are the threads.

Found those and read them. Several turned into pissing contests and the others had no new info. That's what I was interested in.

Well, one of the other threads mentioned the helmet not having HECC certification yet. But, sure enough it's there on the list now on the updates from today.

The big question is pricing, or comfort if you've had it in your hand as some people have alluded to.

$109 naked/$129 caged.

Not a big fan, I've had it on my head and came away unimpressed. That seems to be the general consensus out there. Feels flimsy and poor fit.

tried on this helmet it is insanely comfortable but the cage they make with it is just awful and a friend of mine on my team used it for a practice

Was this their own brand of cage, or was it some other cage they slapped on there?

Is their cage anything different from all the other cages out there, or is it just like a ripoff of someone else's with their logo slapped on it?

I'm assuming the cage is of their own design since they already make all of their Lacrosse helmet cages. I'm curious to know if there is a possibility of a Titanium cage from them as I have a Ti cage on my Cascade and its makes a near 1/2lb difference, and very nice construction/durability. I've taken quite a few cross checks to the face and not a scratch yet.

It's Out.. Perani's has them in their recent ad in USA Hockey Magazine. Gonna call down this afternoon and see what colors they have in stock, and what colors are available for Custom. Stay Tuned.

The long term plan is to have an almost infinite number of color combinations, like their lax product.

According to their website, their custom colors are, Black, White, Red, Royal, Navy, Orange, Yellow, Forest, Purple, Silver, Carolina, Athletic Gold, Maroon, and Old Gold. Sorry LC, no Pink (yet?)

I wonder if these will be acquired and marketed by a well established brand on the hockey market, like how CCM acquired the Hefter helmets? Or will people be "brave" and willing to try a new brand?

Given the quality of the helmet, I don't really see anyone buying it. Either players or manufacturers.

FYI

I'm on the HECC website and the Cascade CHX was just added on Mar 1.

Once again, the more you read, the less you know??

The front of the helmet is alrght, but there is something about the back of the helmet that looks sooo 1980s Jofa. I like the custom color options though.
