New helmet

I need a new helmet and visor for refereeing, well at least a visor. i have a bauer 5000 but its an old hockey helmet with lots of scratches that i wouldn't mind changing. Since this helmet is for refereeing, I'm not looking for the most protective helmet,but for a good deal and most importanley the mirror test. So lets here your suggestions and input. So what's the best looking combo on the market?

Since you don't need the most protective, how about the very economical Bauer 3000?

The nike bauer 4500/400 looks the best and will probably go with the visor you friend has.

what are the differences between the 3000/3500 and the 4500/4000, the look prety much the same to me.

Yeah...3/4000 is definitely THE referee helmet.

I've actually heard of supervisors giving people bad reviews because they weren't wearing a 4000. Personally, I say find something that fits and is comfortable.

Though it won't fit my head, looks-wise, I'm partial to the CCM 652 (or any of the other 97 different names they've called the same helmet). They never improved on the classics. Not hard on the wallet, as you ought to be able to find one somewhere for about a nickel. I don't think I'd be grossed out to see it with an Itech aviator visor.

I find the 3000 pinches my head....idk if the 4--- will be better with the different foam or not.

^^I find my 652 to be a little tighter than the 692. Also I think the 92 series looks better.
