Dare to Dream 1980

In The Crease

I own it.

I thought it was a pretty good documentary movie. The main focus is on the kids and their parents, along with their sacrifices.

Wayne's Dad needs to lighten the hell up.

Aside from that, I found it very well done.

Yeah, it was on today. Watched 10 minutes or so of it, then got bored and changed the channel.

If you are a California dude it would probably be more intereting.

Sure there is: a nice, savage beating at the hands of his son. Worked wonders for a teammate of mine when we were kids.

i found it to be very interesting, especially since I know a lot of the guys on the team. Wayne's dad might be crazy but he's a good kid. Actually just played sticktime with him a couple of hours ago.

In terms of those who have moved on, Mitch is ranked #64 in the final rankings for the '08 NHL entry draft. Got to see him play earlier this year when the Chiefs came to play the Thunderbirds. Was fun getting to seeing him skate again.

I just played stick time with a kid from Honeybaked today. Kid had a nasty shot. Didn't catch his name but he said he was 18.

Long hair was slowly making its way back into the NHL at that time. They were just helping it along a little bit.

It's definitely worth watching....I really enjoyed it. I guess it's especially cool because it's in CA and I recognize a lot of the rinks and such, but I think any hockey fan or player would think it was worth a watch.

I thought it was good. Nothing I haven't seen before though, having honeybaked, ceaser's, and belle tire all right here.

Very good documentary. They did and excellent job of highlighting the players and parents sacrifices. After having the privilege of being on the coaches side of 3 trips to nationals and winning 2 of them. this brought back many memories, and it really was nice to see this done in such a proper manner. i would recommend that young players, that want to play at a high level, spend the time to watch this with their parents, teammates, and coaches.
