Torspo Hockey & Kor Hockey

Recommended Posts

I think Torspo and Kor are not playing nicely with each other. The Torspo Anoka MN office may be simply "administrative" in nature.

Also, Kor may be a little distracted with this.

F**kin' Awesome... I love IP suits, especially entertaining when the only side that wins is the lawyers' side (see early Disney derivative suit - pre Eisner).

Awesome! Anyhow... if you're going to lose... lose big.

You guys can keep your translucent holders and your chrome holders. I'm getting goldfish in mine.

Ha almost did that with my Clear Tuuk 2000s.

i could see ovey getting those holders . then brodure will start complaining about how the chromed holders give ovey an unfair advantage because of the reflection comming off the holders. then he will force the NHL to ban ovey from using them.

haha....from a devils fan too...

yeah I wouldn't mind a pair of those chrome holders...think any will show up on ebay?

Yeah the skates have a very special feeling.

I´ve tried them for about a week ago and the felt pretty srench.

They are in one pices it means that it´s a hole booth and skate.

I'd be willing to try out that top end Surge skate. They look like their a top quality product. Too bad they can't compete on the North American market. I be willing bet they would put a dent in some to the other manufacturers sales.

I thought it was funny to see an ad for Torspo in the latest USA Hockey magazine. If they aren't planning on selling in the states then why advertise here?

I wondered the same thing given the conflicts that were alluded to in this thread.

They might not do any market damage but more choices and diversity in the market is always good for players... It also hopefully drives innovation

JR, I'm talking about innovation in general... Certainly not what Torpso brings to the table. More companies struggling for market share, the better the chance that folks will take design chances that pan out for better products.

Without CCM and Bauer pushing each other to design newer and better skates, we might all still be skating on tube blades, right?

well if Torspo is suing Kor, its plausible that Torspo filed for an injunction to stop the release of the shift 2. I dont know what all is the deal, but they posed a valid question.

Exactly once lawyers get involved anything can happen, especially stall tactics, injunctions, cease and desist orders, bury the other company in paperwork until you bleed them dry....etc

Well, SRI cleared up the other stuff....

and, yes, Kor is suing Torspo... but Torspo filed suit on Kor first.

Plaintiff: Torspo Hockey International, Inc.

Defendant: Kor Hockey Ltd.

Counter Claimant: Kor Hockey Ltd.

Counter Defendant: Torspo Hockey International, Inc.

Plantiffs sue defendants.... Torspo sues Kor, Kor files countersuit on Torspo.

I'm thinking that the Shift 2 has become the Hefter of skates. Also if Torspo wants to make it in the the states I suggest they loose the T stick figure. LOL! What a joke.

Also, does this mean that now the Toesock will have a chance with another company?

from my reading experience it clearly is a two way law suit... both companies are suing each other, i got that from the court website..... there wasnt a damn bit of speculation about it.

Until we are enlightened by your holiness, all there is, is speculation... take a f*ckin chill pill
