I still think he is the most skilled Leaf ever, and one of the few guys in NHL history who doesn't give a mind numbing interview.

Yeah, definitely one of the Leaf's great players. He did slip outta the spotlight pretty silently though, I didn't even realize he was gone. Just figured he'd lost his touch, like Yashin (which is a shame.)

Got hurt as a Leaf. Didn't want to come back, LouLam talked him into it, and then demoted him when Elias came back largely due to the cap. Then used the LTI and "nagging" hip injuries as the excuse, despite Almo playing most games the year before and the hip not being a huge problem.

IMO, His best days with the media were his early days in Buffalo. Him and Art Wander ("The Tiny Tot of the Kilowatt") were great together.

I didn't expect him to be at the top of his game. At the top of his game he is one of the most talented players in the league. He has 25 points in 34 games. He was playing well for a 2nd line player when he was demoted. On pace for roughly a 25-30 goal season. His demotion had everything to do with the cap and nothing to do with his play.

He was the original alexander the great, I used to love him on the Sabres years ago.

In fact, I still have a Mogilny blade on my spare shaft =)
