Just got my new USA Hockey mag and in the Hockey world ad there's a new Under Armour Visor. Looks very much like the Oakleys. Any info?

Many of the "cool" kids on my sons' football teams have the UA football visor. The football ones are well made and hold up quite well to mud, dirt and scratches. Hopefully a Hockey one would be just as durable.

the rep said that it has a warranty of somesort...maybe a year.

JR maybe you can let me know if its true.

we had the rep bring it in with all of the sunglasses they are making, it sits VERY far away from the face. its much thicker then anything on the market.

i guess its the same company who makes the shields for the military, very high strength stuff...

They also haven't licensed the Oakley patents. The ones at the show were not nearly as clear as the Oakleys. Then again, there are people who will buy it for the logo and not care about the quality.

I WANT ONE!!! Can they put the logo really big and right across my face so everyone will know that I have more money than brains?! :P

Supposedly the visor is military-spec.

I live in MD, where Under Amour is based, and my local hockey shop is carrying them. I was told they are manufactured by the same people who make the US fighter pilot visors.

The guy at the store said everyone who has purchased it really liked it. He said they supposedly fog up less than traditional visors and do not scratch easily. I think every new visor coming out makes these claims though...

A guy on one of the teams I play net on was wearing it. He said it was "sick".

Anyone wearing one?

Yep, I've been using one at pickups for like 4-5 months. Odd-shaped cut, but the clarity is unreal and it doesn't fog up like some other brands tend to. Wicked expensive, though, I paid $79 for it
