One90 vs. Nike skates?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I was wondering if the one90 fit like the flexlite line at all? I loved the flexlite skate, but the new NBH ones did not feel the same and werent stiff enough. If they dont fit the same, can someone reccomend a similar fitting skate to the FL12?

Thanks

Chris

Not really, the Nike lines (excluding the Quest 1 and Ignite) are a lot wider and higher cut than the one90s. In terms of heel lock and contoured toe cap they are similar, but again, to a narrower proportion.

Maybe you can try the Easton skates 800C and up. That's the only other skate brand that I've tried that is as wide as a FL or V series Nike. Probably won't be as comfortable though.

go to LHS and try on.

Thanks for not helping at all.

Anyone else with any real info I could use?

You've been here long enough to know that is the first bit of advice you will get. It's also the best advice that you will get.

the flexlite was/is higher cut, but yes.

Not even close other than the fact that they both have lightspeeds on them.

Are you serious? Then the QuestV12 must be the one who is similar to 8090s, cause i know there was one Nike skate which was similiar.

Bumping my old thread. Since nobody around me has one90 skates, can someone answer a simple question for me? If I feel comfortable width wise in a 7.5R 1500c, would I need a D or EE?

Thanks

Give the new Vapor line a try. Completely different fit from the One 90 or Supreme line. I find it very similar to the old Nike V line models and you'll get the stiffness and durability you are looking for.
