I can't watch the vid...what was said?it talked about being able to kick the puck to your skates, new goalie ai, truckload of equipment and modeled it so players have accurate gear, you can customize tape on your socks when you create a player, new right analog system and being able to point to call the shots.. jww83 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2007 Does anyone else agree that ESPN NHL 2k5 is the best hockey game ever released? The ESPN integration was awesome and just made the game seem so realistic at the time. Until a broadcast style is implemented into a hockey game like that one did it will be hard to top. Or does MSH appear in all versions? I was also used for the newer gear (catalogue scans before there were hi-res shots of the stuff) and manufacturer contacts for licensing.I will find out if it is for all platforms. BK 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2007 Its a hard tossup.EA has the nice fluid motion when skating and the puck dynamics are amazing. At the same time, I swear they only have 5 animations for the goalies.. Left kick, Right kick, glove save, blocker save and the dive he takes when you shoot one at his chest.. BOOOOOO EA. Hell, the goalie will more often than not, just stand there when you take a shot. The puck will magically bounce off of the butt of his stick : /I hope 2k8 will have some more fluidity in their skating and hopefully they use a new engine for puck movement. The goalies don't even MOVE most of the time... I'm getting 2K this year, if I don't have better games to buy. The player models and skating animations definitely need a lot of work though. The player models and skating animations definitely need a lot of work though.uhh it's not hard to get 8 goals in 2k7 because all they ever do is either stand there and look at you score on them or make a sad looking save attempt..
