size 18 rollerblades

Recommended Posts

ALright, i got a friend who has size 18 feet. Now, he had a pair of rollerblades way back in the day.. size 12 or 13 or so, and needless to say they hurt his feet and they exploded out the sides after a while.( this was.. 10 years ago,, black and purple crappy blades) He loves hockey, but hes never been able to get a pair of blades and he doesnt even really know where to start.

He's also afraid that if he does find someone who does make them, it'll cost him and arm and a leg, and its not really worth it.

He came into my work again and asked if we had anything and of course I didnt, but I told him and I Would try and hunt him down a pair or at least info on where he could. SO, i come to you modsquad. Does anyone have any info on where I should start? Does mission make this size? Tour? Bauer? Graf? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I guess putting a chassis on an ice skate could be an option. what size of chassis?

Thanks. :D

Good idea. You probably need to find a millwright or take a stock chassis to a machine shop to have a custom chassis made for him. You might want to contact someone on the mainland versus the island unless you know someone?

Not making fun of your friend but that chassis could be 100-100-80-80 in a HiLo setup or 80-80-80-76-76(-76). That would be kinda freaky..

There is a speedskate with a 100-100-90-90 hi-lo set up. Maybe buy a pair of those and hockey boots to mount them on. Of course that whole operation would run a considerable amount of $$$$$ If this fellow is as tall as his feet are long he could be over seven feet all on the floor.

I feel for the guy. I suspect he is more than 7 feet. I'm 6'5" and I have size 12 feet.

some of the Euro companies. or any that make speed skates "should" be able to help with the boot, and possibly the frame. the 100 100 90 90 would be an awesome frame for him... I'll make a few calls...

I know Hockeymonkey did big size skates. I remember they had a pair of CCM 1152 Pro's on there in a size 15 and 16. These had a flat suregrip chassis fitted on them. Think they might be on the site. Havent been on there in ages though.

Chara actually has pretty small feet (for his size) I think (I remember) he used to play in skates that were to big for him, before he made it to the show.

well he has ice skates that more or less fit him. He would prefer to just get rollerblades as opposed to paying for ice skates, then chassis, then mounting...
