I need help with this Jersey Design

Designing a new jersey for our team.

Team Name: Mojo

Team Jersey: Phoenix

I like this "Owlz" logo design. I need to substitute the letters MOJO for our team logo.

Can anyone help me via photoshop or otherwize and put the Mojo logo on this Jersey? The letters need to be White = one color only.

If you do not know the font, you can try to find it online somewhere....

If you cannot find the font, you may need to find one "close" enough.

You'll have a hard time doing an overlapped font like that one with 1 color numbers. It will look like mush if you don't put some space between them...IMO

Maybe just something really basic (Impact Font):

...Or, a little "out there" (Akbar- the font they use for the Simpsons)

I like GaGa's Akbar font suggeston. As I recently said in the Tampa Bay Lightening thread, a basic design principle is if the background if simple, your logo can have more flair. If your background is busy, you go with a simple logo.

In this case, the scripted, fun Akbar font of "Mojo" looks great with simple colours and background.

GaGa, you're wrong even if the logo is "mono-chromatic" there are 2 colors to it. White and background color. I think it's possible to make the Mojo look like/be styled after the Owlz logo and it look great.

Your second color is just the same shade as the jersey in PS. Screen printing directly to a jersey does not wear well at all.

Your second color is just the same shade as the jersey in PS. Screen printing directly to a jersey does not wear well at all.

You'd have to do each letter separately and stroke it in the back ground color...then overlap them right? There's probably an easier way...but that's all I can think of off hand.

Close to the owlz logo.

I hand designed the original and have the pdf file if needed for editing.

i actually used helvetica i think and just reworked the font myself in adobe illustrator, can convert it to .psd if need be

Thanks to everyone for their hard work on this Jersey! Some great options here. However, I think 'cabreezy' has the winner.

I just need the letters a smidge thicker.

I'm going to print a larger version of this and present it to the entire team. With a little luck we'll have the live version printed up in 3-4 weeks!
