stick9 896 Report post Posted September 7, 2007 Why do I get the feeling the guy in the pic is sporting a mullet and his favorite Van Halen tee shirt. :P Shoes are cool, but the pic gave me flashbacks of high school.
fastbrother7 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2007 Diesel sells way over priced "you've gotta be" high-fashion.if you walked into the rink with those fugly shoes 1st thing i'd think is Gaie. I mean, are you gonna play hockey or pretend there's a catwalk going down the middle of the ice? not to mention I'm sure they're like $150-200 bucks. This guy's hiding something.....lol
blues_91 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2007 I've never seen diesel shoes sell for more than $120 Cdn, I don't understand why every one assumes it would be high priced (150-200?!). IMO, most of their products are ugly, and I don't consider Diesel "high-fashion" at all.Edit: I do like the shoes though

flyguy1697 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2007 I cannot bring myself to buy these shoes for $150 and then pay another $30 for shipping...as much as I think they are awesome looking.

Diesel couldnt be further from that. Diesel is an average overpriced lifestyle brand. They try to give off the I dont give a shit vibe. And 200 bucks for a pair of well made sneakers is more than reasonable. Quality before quantity my friends.

trajik78 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2007 yeah, who could have thought that such a terrible looking shoe could be surrounded by such controversy. Though my argument was offered more as a precaution than slander. I don't want to see any fellow puckers end up like the last guy who put on those shoes. cause4alarm 7 Report post Posted September 19, 2007 But, that would be trying too hard.Like, "PLEASE!! PLEASEE, acknowledge I play hockey! PLEASE!!"It's too busy. For true I'm-a-hockey-player desperation, finish off this ensemble with a mullet (sport it ironically, of course--or not, for more authenticity) and replace your belt with one you took off your old pair of Tacklas. Don't forget to carry a puck in your pocket at all times and squeeze in that extra round of slot car racing whenever you get the chance.Seriously though, these are the most poseur-riffic shoes I've ever seen. A real hockey player wouldn't be caught dead in those. I know a guy (who plays in the NHL, ever heard of it?) and he just walks around town in a pair of real Micron Mega 10-90s with the blade holders removed. And when he goes out to a club (the ones with all the hot women you guys couldn't even dream of talking to), he rocks a pair of custom cobbled A. Testoni's with Tacks power clips mounted on them.
