Easton's S15 Skate

I really hate to start a new topic but I am going to be picking up the S15 skate in the very near future, the old Z-Air's have had it. My question is when I got my Z-Airs(5-6yrs ago) they ended up doing a special on buy the skates get the free stick like two months after I bought them and I was ticked. Does anyone know if they still run promotions like that anymore and if so approx. when? I don't want a repeat of it again. Any info would be great. Thanks

i'm not sure if at other stores but at the store i work at the only deal with the skates and the stick is through mission and you have to redeem it online anyways not sure if that helps any

Yeah that helps a lot. I remember Mission doing that last year. I read JR's review on the S15 and they sound great but I only play beer league now a days and coach a Pee Wee team so does anyone know the difference in S15 vs. S11? Mostly how does the weight compare to the S15 or other top end skates? I guess the real question is does it pay to spend the extra $100-$140 on the S15's for what I do?

Personally I'd get the S-11's and save some cash. The 15's are a great skate but if your only in a beer league the 11's will do you fine. The weight difference is negligable and the 11's carry just about all the features of the 15's. I was looking at the 11's myself to replace my 1300C's when they finally bite the bullet in a few years.

I bought the S15's and play 2-3 times a week adult and pick-up. They are AWESOME and I highly suggest them over the S11's for two reasons. First; Your feet arent going to grow anymore so it is a some what long term investment. Second; the $$ diff. is only $140 or so. Why not go for the better skate and be done with it.

Just my opinion. BTW; My skates have been holding up awesome and I had no breakin period. Just bake and skate with no pain.

In the states the price isn't that much of a difference. In Canada, the price is a $300 difference.

What are the differences between the s15 and s11's? They caught my eye the other day when I was getting my skates sharpened.. I picked them up and took a good look at both but didn't notice any big differences.

What is the liner thats in the S11? Is it a clarion like in the 1500?
