That should open windows media player and for those in the US who can't view via tsn.ca, you can watch the game, its currently in the first period.

Enjoy

Best way to watch in the US, get someone in Canada to setup a slingbox, all the tsn and sportsnet you want.

Or, instead of contacting someone in canada, having them spend $200ish on a slingbox, set it up, and get you the information to log in and watch, you could click on the link.

Either way is equally convenient

WOW! It's the first day of classes here at UB, and I've got a break from 8:50 until 11 - I didn't think I'd have anything to do; but now I'm spread-out on a couch in the student union with the game (I caught the last few minutes of the first) streaming on my laptop.

Thanks a bunch, Smoke. I owe you, buddy.

Jackpot!

Hey Smoke, will this link work for the rest of the games?

I just read something (somewhere) that gave me the impression that it will.

Caps prospects on the blueline, Godfrey and Alzner looking good, and prospect in the goal, Varlamov let in a softie there

Alzner is playing great, and i think that tripping penalty he had was a bad call.

is it just me or did perron only play one shift in the second period?

It didn't seem like he had too much ice time the whole game. i figured he would get alot more

You are right, he just played 1 shift in the second and 1 in the third. If you don't compete when you play for Suter, you won't play. That being said, he did not have much chance to prove himself today.

Perron didn't look like he clicked with Tavares and Turris, although Canada was on the PK most of the game. Missed the first period so I missed that penalty, but I heard that's why Sutter benched him.

Little Sutter and Gagne played outstanding. Very happy to see Gillies can kill penalties and looks like a future shut down center for the Wild!

After the penalty in the first period David did not play much and I think in the 3rd period he was on the PP.

Well the games are also shown via Sportsnet.ca, so I am not sure if they block it in the US.

He was holding the puck to long and not making simple plays...

They do, thats why I put the link in at the start, so US MSHers could watch too

I didn't know that was the Sportsnet feed, sorry. Btw, is it me or was Pierre McGuire not in his normal mood, no yelling at all, maybe he is just warming up and he needs a training camp like the hockey players.

Does anyone know how Claude Giroux looked and who he was on a line with?

I was at Flyers rookie camp in July, and Giroux has added some weight. At the time it looked like he was having some trouble with his agility and speed, which at one time, were his best assets.

The whole team had a bad start including the goalie. I think they wanted to hit everything that moved and started taking penalties. Very hard to get into a game that way. Very frustrating for a coach. He can't play his lines the way he intended. They were all turning the puck over. When Perron kept the puck at the blue line for a second there (by the way he did not turn it over) I think he was trying to tell his team mates relax and lets take control of the game instead of playing like headless chickens.

Perron was working hard but his mistake was the penalty he took and Sutter used that to send a message to the team.

Game MVP goes to penalty killing unit.
