forsberg-type blades are ok for what im looking for, but i do not love them. im looking for a striaghter blade, maybe with a little toe, or a very soft mid (with a little loft for help shooting)

recommendations..

If you're willing to spend a few extra bucks on the NBH iD program, you might want to look into the P72 pattern. Small curve (albeit maybe a little more "heel" than you're looking for), 5-lie, round toe and a bit of shovel. Looks like a Forsberg/PM9 that might have been heated and stepped-on a little.

If I were still into NBH sticks, I'd buy up a bunch just for the curve itself...as it were, I was about ready to lift the sample from Great Skate and take it to go get some customs made-up.

if you're lefty, Cory Stillman's pattern may fit the bill. Similar to the Sullivan, it's a small heel wedge with just a little twist at the toe. the lie is just a tiny bit higher than as 5 though.

sorry about the shitty quality, it was taken with a cell phone.

How about my pro-stock Marian Hossa XXXLite? Straight blade with a curve at the toe. If you've seen the Prospal you've seen this, this just has a tad more toe curve.

I'm trying to get rid of mine if you're interested.

The curve your looking for sounds like a Recchi. Try a CCM if your into them.

Recchi has more curve than a Forsberg/Modano.

I just found a Shanahan blade at my LHS on clearance, maybe the P10, I think that's the Bauer ID version?

It is

That's what I though. That curve looks beautiful. Slight mid-toe curve, nice little twist, lots of flat blade. I might have to send it to Christian to make a 5 lie round toe version.

Chad, is this similar to the Hull pro curve? I thought he used something like it, but couldn't find anything with the search.

Jarrick, Chad's right - Bauer's version of Easton's Shanahan is P10. However, neither Bauer or Easton are making those anymore (lots of topics on this one). So, snatch them up while you can.

Hull's blade has a huge rocker on the bottom giving it a very different profile. The only real similarity is that they are both toe curves, other than that, they are very different.

If you get a deal on it, you may be able to turn a profit.

id like to get my hands on a blade like that.

the other problem is finding an 85 flex shaft to go along with this blades (cause most are prostocks and too stiff)

TS, you a lefty? If I decide to go custom Christians I might see if someone wants to split the order with me. Probably will be a few months, but I'll jump on here and see.

Try Kariya's pro curve by Inno - also became the Hespeller Smyth and think Inno retail Roberts.

Dont know what the Kariya Pro curve looks like but the old Inno. (SMU) Kariya would be almost perfect. Mid, slight, 1/4 curve, slight open, medium length, 5 lie, round toe.

I'll take 6.
