Fedorov91 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2004 So I was messing around with my VCR and computer today trying to figure out all this stuff about transfering videos onto my computer. I'd like to be able to make a website full of Hockey Highlights for people to download but I've run into a few problems. 1st off is the software... I can't seem to get the sound to work, and also the files are huge because it copies in .avi format so a 10 second clip was like 40 megabytes. So what I have to do is convert it to MPEG format and that helps A LOT. Like I got a 100MB file down to 4MB, theres a little loss in quality, but its not too bad. Then the other problem is finding free webspace... places like Tripod only give you 20MB and when your dealing with movie files, that's just not enough. I figure I could just upload them on all different sites/servers. Now that I'm starting to get the hang of it, it's actually pretty easy. So here's just a few clips for you guys to download...(right click, then save target as)Great Goal by Naslund in his Pre-Vancouver dayshttp://fedorov313.tripod.com/Videos/NaslundDive.mpgNice Hands, Pretty Goal by...
