MIA gloves

Recommended Posts

I know that warrior bought MIA sports a few months ago. Last night during the Rangers game Sean Avery was wearing MIA gloves that were branded warrior. I have seen threads on this site where there were MIA gloves branded as mission and other companies. But now that warrior owns MIA when will we see the MIA gloves with warrior branding hit the shelf. I know that the name on the cuff dose not affect the performance of the glove, but has warrior modified the gloves at all.

Avery definitely wears different pairs throughout a game because at one point he was sporting MIAs with the MIA logo on it. Personally, I'd rather have those style gloves in retail compared to the retail Warrior stuff we've seen.

Last week Havlat the same thing before sporting the Infernos and Rachunek is in the link above in Warrior-wristed MiAs.

I just ordered 2 pair from MiA that should be getting here anyday. This is the third time I've ordered gloves from them. Apparently, MiA will do all of Warrior's custom stuff with a possible Warrior by MiA tag. I begged for them to use mine as a prototype and slap Warrior on there but he said he couldn't do it yet - that it was only just being discussed. This was last month before NHL pics proved otherwise. Needless to say I was pissed when I saw Havlat at the Hawks' photoshoot with Warrior on his gloves. Liars! What's so great about Havlat? Sure he's a bit better than me but why do his gloves have to be, too?! Anyway, keeping my fingers crossed they changed their minds and mine show up with Warrior.....

Well, see, now this makes sense. I did not know warrior bought MIA but last training camp, Al Iafrate, who was the warrior rep, had all the caps training staff decked out in warrior gloves and sticks.

This training camp, the caps training camp all caps staff are wearing MIA gloves. I know they have a good relationship with Iafrate, so I guess he just set them up with the MIA ones this time

I just got a pair of them and they are the best pair of gloves Ive owned to date. I will grant that they are overpriced.

how long did your order take to get to your house?

If you are really happy with the product then it's not overpriced. To each their own, it's a value vs cost issue. If you value the product enough to pay the cost of it then it's not overpriced because the value of that product is worth the cost attached to it(to you).

I call it overpriced but that shouldn't have anything to do with your feelings on the product.

I've tried on a pair but I haven't ordered a pair. I'm not interested in the look and the feel is straight up eagle, with split fingers.

If I was going to spend the money for custom it would be with eagle because I personally know how awesome their customer service is, they were very helpful for me.

The customer service with MIA was awesome a few months ago. I have been trying to order another pair, but now I cant seem to get in contact with anyone like it was 4 months ago. I am curious as to what has changed.
