Modano finally did it tonight, tying and breaking the record for points by a U.S. born player in his first two shots tonight. I thought it was great to see him break the record on a breakaway, and for it to stand as the game winning goal.

Classy move by San Jose to recognize Modano for tying then breaking the record. Also nice move by the San Jose fans to give Modano a standing ovation. Much better than Nashville :D

I LOVE that stick and all the other patriotic stuff. Like the U.S.A. Eagle Pro-Glos. That stuff is awesome.

Modano is a class act and is without a doubt one of the best all-around players. I still remember him making everyone look silly with the jacked up hand. Amazing player.
