Warrior Pro Stock Blades

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know what the "TAKE" pattern is like? They only have that and the Lang pattern left in the RH Ak27 blades. Sorry if someone already posted this, but I am having a tough time searching for it on the forum. Any pictures or description would be much appreciated.

It's been driving me nuts and I needed a standard blade so I ordered one. If no one answers I'll give you an answer in about a week.

Sorry for having to ask this question but i'm looking for a mild curve that has a touch of loft. Will the delmore cut it for me? If not, which of the warrior curves on hockeymonkey would you recommend? It's kinda tough

Also TBLfan what is the lie of the delmore? Is the bottom flat as well?

I know everyone is wanting information on the blades, but I'm just going to throw out some patterns to see if anybody knows anything about them. I don't really *get* why HockeyMonkey can't say a thing about the patterns, can't even make ballpark estimates, when they physically own the blades, but that's another point entirely.

These are my top choices after viewing the vids, but it's hard to tell lie from there. If anybody at all can tell me the lies for any of those patterns, you will officially be The Man (or Woman).

Essentially I'm looking for a Sakic curve with a more closed face, and less curve. A mid or mid-toe would be ideal, around 5.5 lie or higher. It'd be nice for the blade to be smallish too. Again, I know it's a lot to ask, but I'm just throwing it out there incase anybody knows and feels like divulging. Even if you can say that you know one of them is much lower than 5.5 or higher than 6.5 that'd be more than enough.

Thanks guys!

So...

you're clearly NOT looking for a Sakic!

What ARE you looking for?

find a company willing to do CUSTOMS.

Thanks Stranger.

D, I was talking specifically about the pro-stock blades. I wanted to give a description of the blade I was looking for, so that anyone who had any information about a blade like that within the warrior pro stock selection could point me in the right direction.

Is it even possible to tell lie from the videos they have at HM? I am looking for a RH blade, very low lie, little rocker, mild curve with a tad of loft. The Fedorov is about what I need. Is the Green listed Travis Green? I'm a defenseman, so I take a fair amount of slappers and I can't decipher HM's offering of pro stock (lack of) information. Thank you in advance for your help.

Marleau seems to fit your bill, other than the lie. I posted a pic of my Marleau curve back a few pages, so you may want to take a look at that, however it's a 4.75-5 lie. It's a mild mid-toe curve and less open than a Sakic, short blade, which is exactly what you're looking for. If you may be able to adjust to the lie I think you'd love this blade.

Ambro, from what I saw of the curve you posted and on the vids of hockeymonkey, the marleau is EXACTLY what I want. Unfortunately I'm not really in a position to adjust to a lie just yet, we're in the stretch before playoffs and I'll need to play with a lie I'm used to if I want to get anything done.

Hopefully this summer I can either get a hold of the marleau and have a company make customs, or get used to the lie. thanks for the intel, however.

I am interested in the Green as well. It looks like a toe/mid-toe with a lowish lie? Has anyone got one of these to post pics?

If you check the Pro return dolomite chart, they have a green listed (remember to add ~1 to the lies, as Warriors are a little low)

GREEN R MID-OPEN 3 ROUND 11.00 240 DRAPER SAKIC

Here's the chart if you haven't checked it before:

Would the lies be a bit more accurate with pro stocks? I'm worried about ordering a 5 lie and getting a 6 instead because it's a huge deal for me.

Don't go off of their curve descriptions. If it's Travis Green, the pattern's been posted numerous times before.

My question precisely. :) I had a Travis Green on my Dolo before, and I like it. Low lie, etc... but there are 4 Greens in the league.

They open in about 15 minutes, so I'll call and post the result.

Those are Travis Greens, but they are tapered. Won't work for me since I have an OPS I turned into a shaft. Hope this helps someone else, though.

Do they even offer standard blades to fit into the end of a standard shaft (former OPS)?

Anyone know what this code might mean on the Dupuis blade I bought? Just curious more than anything.

The first sticker says "SYN-N"

The second says "2922"

I'm guessing 2922 is the pattern number, but what's the first? FYI, it is stamped in two places "Dupuis".

Pattern doesn't really show up in pic. It's a mid-heel lidstrom pattern. Curve starts about 2.5" from the heel. Lie is at least 6, maybe higher. Blade is under 150grams.
