Doesn't surprise me in the slightest. How many You Tube videos have we all seen of hockey mom's just going APES$(# on the stands towards the opposing players and the refs. On more than one occasion I have tossed parents/spectators out of the arena due to their conduct, and twice have even awarded unsportsmanlike conduct minors to the offending team due to their conduct despite warnings.

OSU is the only place I have been that I was worried about physical violence(traveled to every stadium in the Big 10, ND, Pitt and a few SEC games), even when they travel to road games their fans are crazy. I can deal with the trashy Michigan fans (there are plenty of them around here to go around) but OSU fan is a whole different breed.

lol, a hockey mom threatened to shoot my friend the other day. i play adult beer leagues but the games can get pretty intense sometimes. this hotshot kid (18-20 yo) on the other team is talking trash throughout the entire game for no reason. he slashed my buddy pretty hard for no reason so they went at it. the fight ended with the kid in the fetal position. in the parking lot after the game, the kid drives by us very close and starts cussing at us. my friend ran after the car and the chicken$%@# speeds off around a corner and almost tbones a truck. it was so hilarious. anyways his mom and dad apparently were in the parking lot too and they start yelling at us and his mom threatened to shoot us. it was the funniest thing. no wonder this kid is such a brat. apparently his parents don't think he can do any wrong.

that was at farmers branch. now i just play at euless. i see you are in richardson. i've played a few drop ins over at itc. good ice there.
