Hey guys...myself and some friends are eventually going to try to rent some ice in one of the local rinks (Anaheim, Lakewood, Artesia) and we are looking for some players to fill out the games. We are thinking of one game a month to start with each game running 1.5 - 2 hours. We're still working on other details but right now we are just trying to gauge interest. And the more players the better. We are trying to get together a master list of emails and/or phone numbers of guys who would be willing to try to get together to play on a consistent basis.

Ah, I forgot about Westminster. Thanks. The games would likely be on a Friday night or Saturday night, and probably late (like 10 or 11pm).

There's a chance we may have them in LA too....it just depends on where we can get the best deal on ice. We've rented out the rink in Ontario (the one owned by Semenov and Yushkevich) before but that's a drive for almost everyone. We may end up there too if we can get a good deal. Who knows....maybe we can alternate between a couple different rinks.

not trying to hijack the thread, but when I lived out there, Lakewood had a slot that was empty every week for pickup and we would just show up and take it over...I thought it was a Fri/Sat night..but its been a couple years...

All skill levels are welcome. We will most likely try matching lines up based on talent, just to even things out.

Ehh guess im the furthest person south in southern california. All the way down in San Diego. But Im in school right now up in Riverside. Dont have all my gear up here with me, but maybe can get it here later if i really want. Oh and my skill level is below novice. I can prolly be the waterboy or something. Only been skating for about 6 months.

No, I've ordered from them before and have learned to not wait for the stuff. It usually takes about 10 days.
