djinferno 2 Report post Posted February 15, 2008 I'm obsessed with hockey, I have Center Ice so I basically watch it every night until 1AM, watch NCAA and go to QMJHL and OHL (I live in Ottawa so we got the 67's and Piques) I go see my friends in beer leagues, I play like 4 times a week and spare as much as possible...I'm also obsessed with hockey gear, my fetish is skates, i can tell you what everyone is wearing and notice as soon as they change to something new because to me it stands out... I also been a stick fool latelly but i keep it simple, I get my hands on Any high end easton stick with grip Sakic's I can...Basically, hockey is my life... All this while I already have 4 pairs of gloves.Already have 4 pairs? Try, I already have 9 pairs of mostly new gloves and I've got two more pairs on the way!! Then I have one90/9Ks that I'm trying to get rid of and x-50, and supreme 70s that I plan on keeping. I've got a custom glove on the way and am planning on another pair... all while keeping an eye out on ebay for a pair of 14.5" easton polys. Yeah... we both need help. I managed to weasel a pair of Barnaby pro stock gloves from him, got my custom Eagles and just bought a pair of Richards pro stock z-airs.Plus I think I'm leaning towards getting a new bucket and new skates this summer. Zamboni 6 Report post Posted March 29, 2008 Play twice a week, take my kids to 2 stick&pucks....twice a month get both kids to outside instruction so their on ice with someone besides dad. Coach one kids team, 1-2 games a week and about 2.5 hours of practise ice. Help out when needed with youngers team, another 1-2 games and 2.5 hours practise ice. Usually run a weeknight class as main instructor, another hour on ice.Just booked spring/summer ice, Sunday 7:30am.....nobody will book 6:30 time slot so we'll always be on ice by 7am....15 kids who don't care if you were up late saturday night.10 year old convinced me to sign him up for a spring 3x3 team-not sure how to tell my wife. Except for sticks of course, I've always been a stick whore. Now, I'm considering some custom warrior gloves, vapor XXXX gloves, even more sticks, and probably a new helmet. MLSman 22 Report post Posted March 29, 2008 Probably won't once I have bills to pay though :P .When you have more money...it only gets worse dude. 3 pairs of Vapor XXXX skates, two full bags of gear, about 8 pair of gloves, 15 practice jerseys...you get the picture. Seriously just spent $200 on a pair of PPF Eagles pro stock, ordered two more CP92 pro stock gloves for $450, and just snatched a pair of Vapor XXX Toronto gloves for $125.
