i am having the same problem, after skating in it though it seemed to fit a little better. But it felt like after i slid the front of the blade in the notch, i couldnt push the heel in to tighten the blade without the toe popping out some. I havent noticed any difference in my skating yet though.

Same thing there is like a 1/64 of a inch. When i place my blade in front of the light i can see the light in the middle of the ls2 where the blade meet the plastic of the holder.I found it funny at 1 st but now my silly blad eis comming lose.So i think i will go back to the LHS to get it fix.

do you take the footbed out and tighten it with the allan wrench?

several times. Its like the front of the blade doesnt fit 'flush'. it fits but there is a small gap when i tighten the blade up. Unfortunately the closest shop to me is 2 hours away, so i had to mail order the new blades. very pleased with them though. Like i said earlier, when i stand on them the go flush, so i have no problems skating thus far.

Loctite, think they recommended a certain kind but I forget. I rarely have to adjust my steel, which is a good thing... It's a pain in the ass.

If all else fails you can buy hardwear for it, I think HG sells it.

There is a very good chance that if you have a certain type of LS2, the anchor bolt can spin in the blade. The plastic holder won't keep it from spinning. Anytime I ran into this problem, I would tighten the holder in a vice, clamping where the anchor bolt meets the steel. Tighten the vice and then tighten the anchor bolt. If it is the old allan head nut, you might want to switch to the newer 5/16th ny-lock nut. The anchor bolt for that one doesn't spin in the steel. If they are new holders and steel, take them back to the dealer.

I had to file my Tuuk LS2 blades (the inside parts touching the plastic) to get them to fit properly. There was also a burr on the front part, before the prong; possibly this is where the laser started and finished cutting the steel.

I got Step replacement steel, and it fit properly without any adjustments.

Use a hammer from the front to the back.

You will need to sharpen them afterwards

but it will get the steel to fit in the holder.

I've saved myself a tonne of fustration since

I started doing this.

Rubber mallet would work, or just like I said, just slam the toe down. Once the screw is tightened it'll pull up.

Slamming the toe is the most effective way I've found but I don't do it in front of the customer so they won't think I'm wrecking their skate. If you don't have a rubber mallet, a regular hammer and a puck can be used for the same effect. Pucks should be readily available around most rinks.

Slamming the toe does not always work. Hammer on

steel always does, sharpen them afterwards, no big

deal. This problem used to drive me nuts. Not anymore.

Always works for me...
