2 of these photos i found online taken at the moscow circus on ice or something like that. The first 2 photo's real bears, 3rd is fake. The bear in question looks similar to the first 2 to me :D

Kind of cool. I don't know why you think its cruel the bear isn't harmed, he gets to play and gets snacks sounds just like beer league, they even play the same.

Take a look at the ankles of these two bears. Does the second bear look like its ankles would fit into the skates of the bear above?

Hey, maybe it's possible someone could teach a bear to skate, but I'd be shocked if these bears were real.

Barnum and bailey circus used to have bears roller skate. Heres another video of a 'figure skating' bear. looks real.

I just want to know one thing. Who is the bear's agent. I think he could be a real grinder on a 3rd-4th line. Would strike fear in the opposing forwards for sure. AND he can score!

reminds me of my dog in a way lol. when i shoot around in my backyard, i have a mini cement court and net, my dog is right in there trying to play as well. she carries a puck in her mouth and when i shoot she shakes her head and barks. i think she wants to kill the puck or steal it from me, either way it's quite interesting to watch

That's a real bear, my wife's frind trains bears to ride a bike and play hockey.

this isn't really cruel or funny the cruel part is people laughing at the bear like it was a freak... All the other people would think that is neat and cool to teach a bear to do setting like that.. And there are just people sitting and just watching

I'll second that,thats not funny at all and yes that IS animal cruelty.I'm really glad to see quite a few board members share my point of view on this,its cruel and exploitive.IMO.

so your saying that zoos or dog shows are cruel because people look at the animals? and taking your dog to training school to house brake and teach commands is also cruel? both or just one or none of the above?

The only aspect of cruelty that could possible exist is if the bear was trained by using electric prods or something to that effect, but the bear was probably trained with food as incentives, the same ways dogs are trained. (Not an expert on bear training)
