As far north as you are, why are you surprised?

I feel the need to point out that you live in a city with "Cold" in the name. Just based on that, this should come as no surprise. If you lived in Sunshine Lake, or Pina Colada lake, then it could be a shock.

Anywhere that's a couple hundred miles north of Montana is "that far north". I think Mack's the only one closer to the arctic circle.

Well I guess it is far north. I find it funny because I think of lethbridge as far south with wicked weather, and thats still like 200 miles north of the US border.

We got ours a week ago. Nice break from these hot-ass 70 degree days we've been having. The sun was gone for 6 months and now it decides to double the length of the day and shoot from ~35 to ~75 degrees during the day.

Give me snow and ice, the outdoor rinks don't freeze well when it's warm out.

Also this isnt a regular snowday, i've had to shovel my snow twice and the second time probably took em around an hour when a usual snow day is like 25 minutes. Just a retarded amount of snow, and more blowing snow and stuff and part of my sidewalk was in a really sheilded area so there was like 3 feet of drifts, ugh, terrible stuff.

Break-up had started a couple weeks ago, topped off with some great sun coming in and then it started snowing for most of a week. Then again I live in Alaska so I laugh at most snow/winter-related mishaps.

hahahaha, have you ever been to edmonton before? there was no snow, at all, untill sunday night/monday morning, and you clearly can't see how much snow there actually is in those pictures.

damn, it's sunny and 70 here today.

do you live in like, florida or something then?

But you can see the concrete of the roads. That alone should tell you there's nothing abnormal about the amount you got.

IIRC, Chadd's in Pennsylvania.

It takes a while for enough snow to pack down and cover the roads completely in edmonton with the amount of driving that is done.
