second year in a row i am going to miss the leafs/marlies sale because of exams... :rolleyes:

you didnt miss jack....worse sale ever, if you werent the first 30 people EVERYTHING good (decent gloves,S19/x60) was gone

i swear i saw you there, imo there were barely any decent gloves and all the nice sticks were lefties

glad i didnt miss much. last year the only righty sticks were kubina's ak's. i grabbed one and cut it a few inches and couldn't flex it at all..you'd think there would've been more rightys since almost all the d-men are. last year all but kabby were right

Two people in the first grouping got 10 rightys altogether. 1 10k, 5 finger one95s, 4 bozak s19s between the two of them. The S19's were 85 flex sakics.

dammit i could use those bozaks, i saw the dude carrying all the one95s though

I also saw a couple of Bozak's 09 Dolomite, looked solid but I shoot left unfortunately

ye those were gone by the time i got in, all that was worth anything was kubina's ak's and mayers tps, but i was really there for the gloves and got disappointed badly lol

They did one this fall as part of the Fanfest. $40 cover charge to get in the door and most of the equipment was gone early according to my buddy who worked the sale

Those look very nice!!! I think those are the one style/color of glove that looks better when not made of tufftek/nylon material.

I went there just to buy a pair of tan gloves because I couldn't find any in local stores, and I got these!

I figure there were about 30 pairs of tan gloves. There were a lot of Bauer 4-roll with "Canadiens" embroidered on the cuffs but they were all nylon fabric, and I preferred to go vintage with the leather. There were a few pairs of Warrior leather gloves but I wasn't willing to pay $300 for those! The Easton and Bauer were $125. Some looked brand new and most were very slightly worn. I also saw a pair of TPS and I believe I saw a pair of Winnwell. I didn't really shop for anything else but I heard someone mention how fast the sticks went.

How to you guys know when an equipment sale is going to heppen (NHL, AHL, OHL, etc.)?

Can you call to find out? or how do u usually find out?
