I bought my first pair of "real" upper level skate from a pro stock sale I believe it was equipment from the Binghampton Sens. It was a barely used Nike Quest 1 skate. Still in good condition today.

Mississauga St. Michaels Majors equipment sale is tomorrow (oct 10) at 1pm at hersey centre

i wont be able to go (work ugh) so if anyone can pick me up a pair of ccm gloves 14" and a large navy blue helmet pm me. i'll send a few extra bucks your way too

anyways else go to this sale? unfortunately i didn't get to go due to work

i ended up emailing the office at the proshop in the hersey centre and was able to go and see some leftover gear that wasn't sold. but they only brought me what i asked to see, which was gloves and helmets, so i couldn't see any sticks but i got a pair of ccm gloves and a helmet for $60. the gloves were all really used and stinky but i got a pretty decent pair with only a little wear on the right palm. but it could use a re-palming. and the helmets were all signed by a few players but it was already coming off (couldn't even tell who signed it) so i wiped it all off and got a nice ccm v10 helmet with no scuffs on the actually helmet and no wear on the inside. so i'm pretty happy :lol:

Got back from the Habs sale a few hours ago and was a bit disappointed.

The only things they had were from last season or even further back. The gloves were the blues ones from last years retro jersey nights, RBK and NB mainly, and were about 200$ each, give or take 25$. The sticks were about 100$-125$ for this seasons players but there were a few Rivet sticks and so on for about 50$...

The helmets, which is why I went, were about 175$ and more and they only had one white one and the rest were the home ones or the ones from last year with the 'CA' on them. The skates were a good deal and there was a lot of goalie equipment from Halak and Huet with some price pads and chest guards, but it was mainly Huet stock gloves and blockers.

The best deal were the pants. they had some Warriors go quickly but they were all from last season's jersey retro night. Funnily enough they had a bunch of 'RBK 7K' Detroit pants for 100$ (Habs play Wings tonight at the Bell) each so I picked up a pair as they were cheaper than the Hab ones :(

All the really good stuff was taken by the kids working there before the place opened and was stacked behind all the tables for them for later.

I bagged a pair of Red Wings 7Kpants, a pair of Home and Away socks, and a Pavel Valentenko Preseason away jersey. Happy with what I got but it could have been a lot, lot, better.

There was none of the red, white, and blue pro stock gloves which was the other thing I was there for :(

I can only go by what the people behind the tables told me about the stuff they had behind them, however my Wings pants have the NHL logo on the back of the leg, but yeah they are from the movie but they still are pretty cool.

The helmets were nice but not 175$ nice, more like 75$ nice :P

Still, I would not have been happy if I had driven in from out of town for it.

The LA Kings Team LA Pro Shop is having a sale on the inline rink at TSC (Toyota Sports Center) in El Segundo on Fri and Sat 11/27 & 28. Not sure what kind of deals there will be. Pretty sure there will be some more Pro Stock that was left over from the summer sale but it was a bit over priced back then. They may have retail gear on sale too.
