you cannot beat that Fuel Ti for the $$$, Warranty, and Performance! it has been doing extremely well in my territory.

I am also waiting for my Fuel TI-pro to come in...ordered a LH Boyes 85. I really like the unpolished finish to the stick...the feel is so different. It reminds me of when I use sandpaper to remove the finish off my Easton blades. Can't wait to try it.

Ive had my stick for about 3 months now. First there is about 1 paint chip, while this dose not matter it just stood out to me. The blade is great, it is sort of like a unfinished blade but it has great feel with the Htcore and VDS in it. The soft touch grip is great as well. Its only in the middle of the shaft like on TPS sticks and it is like warrior nipple grip but a little more noticeable IMO. The rest of the stick has a different feel, to me it feels like the finish you get from spray painting your stick which i really like. Also the titanium in the shaft area and the blade has improved the durrability of the stick. Ive taken hacks there and there is not even a scratch. And you can't beat the 60 day warranty.

Fuel Ti will definetly be my next stick, bought a fuel back in January and I loved it, it was the best stick I ever used, it broke with an unfortunate collision with the boards though.

I thought it was fairly straightforward:

Hossa = Iginla

Rafalski = Sakic

Boyes = Forsberg

Hainsey = Lidstrom

Sundin = Drury

I've used a Fuel Ti in a couple of games, and my initial feeling is that it's a quality stick. The matte finish on the non-grip version is just about my ideal for a shaft (I hate grip coatings). I keep coming back to Mission because I like their product performance-wise, but the change of lie on the Boyes curve is probably going to keep me away from their retail line going forward. I like a 5 lie at the absolute highest without a lot of curve or loft, and they just don't offer that.

I have a ti-pro just sitting in my garage cause the blade cracked along the bottom, same thing that happend to my teammates who just sent his in to get replaced...but mine is out of the 60 days. It was getting rotated in with my Kronik, XXXX and SEs

aside from the blade breaking rather quickly it felt nice when I was using it

a Kronik? ew.

Funny...I said the same..except for the XXXX. I can't stand it. The weirdest stick I have ever tried to use.

not sure what you mean. the Aldila produced product was a 5.5 in the past but the new SpearShaft technology sticks are on par.... the Boyes is a 5 lie.

since there is no titanium in the fuel ti will the blade crack and/or brake early

earlier than other all carbon blades??? i have been using the Fuel Ti Sundin sticks and have been very happy. blade durability is all relative.... just like gas mileage and leadfoots. if you take alot of slapshots ( depending how hard you bear into the ice ) any blade will crack early on any stick.

Mission's own literature lists it as a 6. It plays like a 5.5. Many have said the same about the lie. Maybe change wasn't the right word, but it's not same lie as a Modano/Forsberg, which is my go to on retail curves.

well that is weird...i have lined them up to Modano/Forsberg and played them as well-- same lie. Sargy and Roman made sure they addressed this since that was the complaint of the Aldila produced product. we discussed this at length and it was a priority. what stick are you referring to ( EXACT DETAILS )?

BTW-- i am sure the website is wrong... look at the Rafalski... you really think it is a 5??? its the same blade shape as Sundin.... the difference being that Sundin is a HEEL and Raf is a MID. both are a 6 and Boyes is a 5.

another quick note.... our catalogue says the same as the website, but i know its a misprint.

The stick is an Soft Touch Fuel Ti, 85 flex, Boyes pattern.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt right now since I don't have any other retail Modano to compare with. This was the first retail stick I've bought in 2 years. I primarily use pro stocks, so maybe I'm just really used to my sub-5 lies.
