I've tried them on and they're a decent pair of gloves. They're lower end Eagles and personally I don't think you're getting your money's worth for the X5.

If you're looking at Eagles I would look at a higher end model with nicer palms. If you're looking for something in the same price range I really like NBH (Vapor X $10 less than X5), (Supreme 70, same price), (or 4-Rolls $10 more than X5.)

I'd personally go with the Supreme 70's. Their a much nicer glove for the money. With Eagles you would need to go to a higher end model and you'd pay more. The 70's are a better bang for the buck.

Thats true, I've only used them for 2 games, and it looks like the palms will be done by the end of the season.

I had the X6's (not sure exactly how closely related those are to the 5's), and the palms went to hell pretty quickly. Also, they felt extremely bulky to me. I switched over to Supreme 70's and haven't looked back since. Fantastic glove.

IIRC, X6s are 14" whereas X5s are 13". Otherwise they should be the same.

Thanks for the support and Tblfan i actually found that helpful. Right now I don't have a lot of money some I am looking a little lower end. Anything to replace my vapor tens

Since the new Vapor line is coming out (Vapor XXXX, XXV, etc) you might be able to get a very good deal on some of the older models, a XX or XV.

My LHS didn't hae x5s tried on the 4 rolls now I proudly own a pair. :)
