PensLeafs_fan 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2008 Simply incredible! Awesome job!Did you get a stock table hockey game and customize it?I actually had 2 old Halex games that I based it on ... well at least the guts of it anyway (the original table serves as the base underneath the bigger upper level)Your work is very impressive. I assume you have extensive experience in scale modeling?none at all... this is the first time I have tried something like this. I learned a lot though before hand, while building and taking apart my old games. That thing is incredible. Sick looking figurinesMcFarlane to the rescue! Here are a few YouTube videos of my custom table hockey that is nearing completion.A tour of the 'gameroom'. Highlighting my custom electronic scoreboard. demonstrating the face-off and some in game action from center ice demonstrating the one-timer (note organ music coming from scoreboard)goalie control demonstrationThat is ridonkulous in its craftmanship. Ever plan on taking requests?I am actually in the middle of creating a step by step build it yourself type guide. Jason Harris 31 Report post Posted June 1, 2008 That is absolutely gorgeous! What a wonderful job you have done.I especially appreciate the entire gameroom, because it's a sign of a kid at heart. The way I look at it is spending time down there seems like it would be a lot more enjoyable than running the vacuum....Your goalies obviously block a lot of low shots, so I'm curious whether you'd ultimately like to modify their bases or whether you find the other players shoot harder and higher than the normal bubble players. Dougie8 0 Report post Posted June 4, 2008 Wow absolutely amazing. When you say McFarlane to the rescue, do you mean that's what you based the players on, or you used the McFarlane figurines for the actual game. I'm also trying to get a feel for the size of the thing. Possible to get a side angle picture to get the scoreboard and everything in one picture?
