Gratton is a solid third/fourth line guy. Big, strong, decent on faceoffs and you can put him on the ice in any situation. I'm guessing this has more to do with them not being Tocchet's guys.

Melrose, who pointed out that Stamkos was now playing fewer minutes than he had when Melrose was coaching, gave a very frank assessment of the 18-year old.

"Steven is not ready for the NHL," Melrose stated on the Fan 590. "Steven is going to be a good player...right now he's just not strong enough physically to play against defencemen who are 6'3" or 6'4" that can skate as good as him."

I hope the Lightnings don't run this kid into the ground.

Glad bettman got good hockey crazed owners in like Barrie and ourles (or however it's spelled), instead of some fly by night who doesn't care about the game like Balisie

Actually, Koules is a nice guy and Melrose actually had good words to say about Oren. Barrie was the one who he did not like.
