Got a surprise at work today. The woman who runs promo comes into my office with an Iowa Stars AHL Jersey (pre-EDGE). I'm not sure if it's a Gamer...it's in really good shape, but it's a size 54 Pro style, FS...#45 Aaron Gagnon.

She said a friend of hers worked for the team and gave it to her, but she's had it in a closet since, and knows I'm a bit of a jersey whore.

Kinda makes all the other shit I had to deal with on my first day back after vaca worth while.

Here is the bulk of my collection. I've added a few recently, such as an authograpged Hossa Thrashers 3rd and an NHL 2000 Andrew Ference Game Worn Pengins Road Jersey. My collection has become Portland Winter Hawks (WHL) related. I like to get jerseys of players who have come through Portland (my home team) on their way to the NHL, AHL or whereever. Adam Deadmarsh was my all time favorite Hawk, so a large portion of my collection is jerseys of him, and there will be a few more to come. Also, I try to add a patch to any jersey I can, to make it that much more obscure.

Thats rad that you got a Gagnon jersey, he was a Seattle Thunderbird (my Portland Winter Hawks #1 rival) so I've watched him play quite a bit, not a bad player in my opinion and good captain for the Birds a few years back.

Dark and White RBK Edge? (or Edge-Style?) training camp game used jerseys. Long story short, these jerseys have the old logo and were used briefly before the new logo ones arrived.

Two Ohlund Replicas... one is from 2001 (CCM above name bar) and other is from 2000 (2000 patch on front.) The number got positioned so low because it's a Men's Small jersey.

I just figured I would mention that when I was in pittsburgh two weekends ago, the teams store was selling authentic edge style jerseys that were made of airknit. They also had the edge 1.0 style, so it looks like Reebok is working them in, But I would imagine if you ordered online from anywhere it would be a crapshoot on which style you would get, more than likely the 1.0 before the 2.0.

Added to the collection last night. Kinda impulse buy....$160 for a 07-08 Game Worn Thomas Beuregard Bulldogs jersey.

It's an EDGE...not sure if it's the original or the 2.0 version. There are some definitely stretchy panels to it, but also some that fell like a more traditional knit. I'm actually surprised that it is as heavy as it is....I expected it to be much lighter.

Figured what the hell...can't get a replica lettered for that around here. The last Dogs jersey I bought was a 3rd (rep) that I got done up Lapierre (and eventually auto'd) the year they won the Cup. And, the money goes to the Hamilton Bulldogs Charitable Foundation.
