i was just browsing another forums and stumbled upon a topic that said the new line will be called vapor x60 and will be released in or around december is there any truth to this does anyone know anything?

Well, given that this year saw a new rollout of a top end supreme model skate, I would think we would be due for a new top end vapor skate next year no?

They can't call it the XXXXX can they? X-50 or X-60 would seem more logical instead of filling the whole ankle with red Xs that you could never count.

I'm glad they've done that somewhat already. The prototype XXXX sticks were the same as the XXX-lite with another X and it looked awful loading them all up like that. Now all of the new Vapor sticks can keep the current scheme and just have a "50" or "60" on the shaft like the Easton lineup.

The XXX was a winter release. Not a big fan of winter releases because you're looking to get rid of your soon-to-be-old inventory over Christmas, then the new skate just kills that. Come next spring, you still have the old skates.

I think Bauer has the selling cycle set now with new skates set for Spring release/ship dates. Holiday releases are pretty well set now for OPS in the Bauer selling cycle. Six more weeks until training camp...........

I bought an OPS the other day for a friend of mine..She's been using a chopped down SR sized Easton stick..Got her a Bauer Endure2 the other day...No Nike Bauer like before..unless the Endure series never had the NHB logo..
