OK, I pulled the trigger and got new gloves....seemed like a good deal.

What do you think of these -good gloves? - good deal?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...A:IT&ih=019

I dont have any LHS that stocks them.

Tight fit of Loose fit?

Palm - Good/bad?

Weight?

breathability?

Thanks in advance.

Since I dont see anything in the review section, I will post one after using them for a while.

Very good pick up on the R8. We have them in the shop and they feel great, are very light, and should wear well. I think those gloves fell off the back of the turnip truck at that price.

If they're similar to the retail ones, middle of the road fit with tapered fingers, excellent palm, excellent breathability, great weight. I'd love to get a pair of those but I need gloves that are a bit smaller/tighter fitting.

So you got a glove with out ANY prior knowledge of fit or anything?

It was a good price though.

Yes, I dont have the best selection at my LHS's.

I wanted not too loose, not too tight, light, good palm, reasonable durability, and more breathable.

Seems like these gloves fit those requirements.

Plus it also looks like I got a great deal, and I really like the understated and plain look. They will look good with any uniform.

I really want the Easton all black 4 roll (probably cause I see so many pros with them), but they were about double the price, and from what I gather, not any better than these TPS's.....so for half the price it seemed like a no brainer. One thing though....I cant find retail R8's in 15" on the web....do you think it is a mistake and they are 14"???

If I find they are totally wrong for me, I will sell them without using them, and likely get all my money back.

We will see I guess.

No 15" in the R8's. I went with 14" with longer fingers.

Do you think the seller was mistaken in saying they were 15"?

and how do you like them? Are they as good a glove as the Easton?

Eric, I have the TPS pro stocks like the ones you bought, and I also have the Easton pro stock four rolls. The TPS are a bit tighter than the Eastons. I myself like the Eastons better, but my son, who's hands are larger than mine will only wear the TPS. Anywho, for $50.00 you got a great deal.

Those look like 14" to me. 15" usually have longer cuffs. In any case, 14" TPS gloves are one of the best retail gloves on the market. The only gloves that come close to their fit are custom gloves, thus my Eagle obsession. I still have 2 pair of R8 lites that I bring with me on travel. The R8 is the only glove that requires no break-in....and after about a year of use feel the same as the day I bought them.

Retails are 13" and 14". No 15" made.

OK, thanks....the seller on ebay from which I bought them must have been mistaken.

14" are fine with me too, maybe the issues I was having with my ccm's were that they were too big and loose.

Thanks once again.

Your info is invaluable

If you think this thread is played out and done, dont take the time to open it, and even more time to reply.

At least I post to get information. I was getting legitimate and needed info for myself, and thanking the people who helped.

You post in a lame attempt at humor. Is that your way of getting people to laugh and hopefully like you?

Yeah...seen it before...the class clown in Junior High.

Not sure which is worse....that you wasted actual time to search for that song, or that you already had it on your computer to be ready to post it and try to be funny.

All I ask is that all of your glove questions be in one topic. You have two of them going and I had to delete the third.

Not a problem. Will try to consolidate subject in one thread next time.

My glove questions have been answered. Bought the TPS's.

No more glove questions........until the equipment whore in me rears its ugly head again.
