LkptTiger 1 Report post Posted September 5, 2008 Well, if you're not going to take a shower at the rink, this'll give you an opportunity to wash-up on your way through the parking lot to your car.Good luck.

I think that was pretty obvious. Just having some innocent fun. He called me disgusting, and I called him a butt ranger. We are even :)Hopefully there isn't a Tina Turner, FloridaRight?! LOL. You just know if she was here on tour or something, and she hears on the news that we were bracing for a beating from Ike, she was like...oh crap...not again! Well, not fine per say, but "slightly improved"http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/graphics_at4.shtml?5day#contentsYes, I saw that one. Still very much in the "cone of death", and it can change at any time. We are now on the "dirty side" if it does hit south of us. We may or may not get a direct hit, but it looks like we will be affected regardless.

epstud74 24 Report post Posted September 6, 2008 No wonder I love the upper midwest.. Just snow storms and the occasional tornado to worry about. I'd be a bit peeved if someone's sailboat ended up in my living room. A question, has a hurricane hit New England in the last 100 years? I've always wondered about that. whbd18 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2008 Hurricane Bob was the last to hit New England in 91. The last major storm that I can think of was at least 4 years ago and that was just 4 feet of snow, which really wasnt bad at all. The weather is never really that bad on the LI Sound, so Im kind of grateful for that.
