the only other things i noticed were that miller's l-2 was obviously a ops and drury was the only player wearing synergy skates.

you know, that may not be the case. I was tallking to my graf rep, who is also the pro rep, and he says that ALOT of guys get their skates WAYYY too small on purpose.

doug gilmore was known to wear skates two or three sizes too small.

also, guerin had some nice hespeler gloves but i could never get a good pic. modo and him were also rockin' the chrome synergy.

The skates still remind me of the older Z-Air skates. Are these guys wearing the Reebok skates in the games?

Good work on the pics! Still not really a fan of the Reebok skate, looks pretty upright and high from the looks alone, but I like the raised vector on the side panel. Hadn't noticed that bit before. I think the Reebok helmet looks pretty good, better than the 8000.

A few questions related to Brett Hull's skates...

(1): What kind of laces are those? they look more rounded than the standard wax lace, they look really nice

(2): The tounge on his G3 doesnt look like the standard white felt of the graf line. Does anybody know what type of tounge that is (it looks much thinner) and why he uses it?

(3): Are those G3s one eyelet less than the retail version at the top? they look like the lace doesnt go up as far as the retails.

(4): Those skates are sick, i wish i had those instead of my retail 705s.

thanks for the complements everyone. me going to the practices (and the game for that matter) was all kind of last minute. i bought tickets at like midnight the night before. i ended up showing up late to the practices anyway, i completely forgot to check for the time difference coming from indiana. so i only got to see about 20 minutes of the russia practice.

i'm suprised so few have talked about the new pro tacks. i think they look great. i guess they're not flashy enough for these days.

Those all white grafs are sweet, they look more like all white 705's than G5, but the white leather, with tec-lite, and the tuuk holder makes a good combo.Sharp!
