firestud17 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2008 the inno maniac pro at paranis is awesome for $49, it felt like a vapor xxx lite to me (more than the graphics). And the fact that is shorter than intermediate length at 70 flex is also a major plus.
sabres48 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2008 those inno maniac lites are like prostocks or something,--at least at my peranis theyre all different curves shaft shapes, heights, flexes, blades(12, 3k, painted over).
beerleaguecaptain 999 Report post Posted December 2, 2008 One of my buddies just bought some Inno sticks but they have never been big in our area. I've seen a bunch of guys on MSH talk about Inno and seem to like them. Can you tell me a bit about Inno? I thought they were bought out by Warrior a few years ago.Where did your buddy manage to snag some Innovative twigs? He was in Rochester. I think Hockeyworld. jrhky36 1 Report post Posted December 3, 2008 i've been told that they are over run dolomites. they are also fused ops. the story on them is (correct me if i'm wrong) the same as the winwell sticks. in mexico manufactors have to pay tax on all inventory so theydon't want it taking up space in the warehouse. so they sell it cheap and put what ever logo the buyer wants on it. its better than paying tax on it and having it take up space. Joe081484 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2008 i've been told that they are over run dolomites. they are also fused ops.I cut the blade off one a couple days ago to see if i could turn it into a shaft, and there was no tenon the shaft appeared to taper right into the blade. That would make me think its not a fused ops unless I'm not understanding the definition of a fused ops right (totally possible)...

Out of spec flex, pattern errors, change in specs from the company, cut to the wrong length... could be any number of reasons. With that said, it's a $150 stick for 1/3 the price, take it for what it is.

sitzlejd 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2009 while we're on the topic, what exactly is that "megalyte" stick that Hockey World has these days?its got no warranty, so I assume its a factory second but of what?I bought a Megalyte and I'm fairly certain it's a MacDaddy. I pulled off the end cap and it says MDSR (MacDaddy Senior) on the inside. Also, the blade is the same as the MacDaddy and it's just a really high-quality stick for the price; very light and feels good in the hands (pretty sure it's a true one-piece stick as well). I'm about to pick up more before they're gone.

Right now I think there is about 12mm between the inside walls, from what I have read I need it to be atleast 14mm to fit a tapered blade. I'll try and get some pictures later if that helps.Thanks.
