Beflar 53 Report post Posted December 13, 2008 Got a pair of PPFi's and the same thing happened. It's no big deal for me, ask the girlfriend to stitch it back and absolutely no more problems.Fell in love w/ the PPFi's the moment I put them on, no other glove felt the same afterward.I'm finding that the PPF get even better the more they get worked in. Andoy 5 Report post Posted December 14, 2008 That's right. I've had my PPFs for almost a year and the palms are as still as supple as when I first got them. Eagle hit a grand slam with the MSH2 palm.

duch 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2008 I totally agree with this statement however just because you go out an buy a Lambourgini over a Chevrolet Impala doesn't mean your going less problems with the more expensive car. All it means is on any given day the more expensive item managed to slip by on some of the quality checks before leaving the manufacturers physility. How the manufacturer handles the defect is the real tell time tale of whether you buy from him again and ninety per cent of people do not come back to one that doesn't handle this facet well. Not a good business practice especially in this type of economy. Unfortunately going back to Eagle is impractible for you. The taking it to the local hockey shop may be the best advice to take at this point. For a few bucks your headache is gone. I would definitely evaluate how durable these gloves are over the long haul however and then make a decision based on that, weather you will buy this product again. I myself,do not purchase any product from a manufacturer who either refuses or avoids action to remedy a defect once I have had unreasonable problems with that product. It's your decision and their survival in todays market.
Keith 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2008 I don't agree with the analogy. His gloves basically broke down driving them out of the showroom... That's not a problem, that is crappy quality and a lot of people in this thread bitched about the same things. The gussets on my custom x80s blew out damn fast as well, not to mention the fact that the gloves were each stitched completely different on each cuff. interpathway 9 Report post Posted December 14, 2008 one of the most popular newer gloves in the NHL and with your high school crowd is a lesser quality Eagle knockoff.Just curious, what glove are you referencing?
pantherfan 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2008 MIA/Warrior I'd assume.
interpathway 9 Report post Posted December 14, 2008 MIA/Warrior I'd assume.I surely hope TBLFan isn't referencing MIA as a lesser quality knockoff...but maybe. Always loved the MIA gloves, but haven't experienced them since the ownership change.
