Interesting find today at LHS

Recommended Posts

So I was in my LHS today looking for a new stick because I broke mine this weekend, and I came across a whole bunch of Z bubble grip shafts. When I went to pick one up I could tell right away they weren't z bubbles, but aluminum shafts. I ended grabbing two for $35 each. Was this a good deal? I figured it would be fun to try something new over winter break. Does anyone know a good blade that would work well with an aluminum shaft? Also there were about 20-30 "Easton Classic" aluminum shafts, but they seemed kind of short. They were $20, anyone know what these are?

use wood blades, comp blades and aluminum don't seem to work well together for me (broken hosels). I also used to flip shafts every few games to prevent the damn things from getting bowed out too far to one side, which can happen with Aluminum.

Call Pure Hockey direct ... I just bought (2) Potis and (2) Classic Shanahan seniors from their Braintree store and had them shipped. Braintree is

now out of the Potis, but the salesperson said all of their stores have them.

stopped at the Braintree location tonight to try and grab one of the Poti's with no luck. All they had were the classic Shanny's which I wasn't a big fan of.

I am really hoping some of the Easton AC 7100 shafts Lidstrom used to use come out of the woodworks.

no more Z-Bubbles, but the Shanahan Classics are now $20.

Also, they have what I think may be Crosby pro stock blades. They are SherWood 1050 "Axion" wood blades for $10. Can anyone confirm?
