Patrick Kane's Special ED. Gear

If he adds black laces and white felt tongues with a flop they would be looking dirty!

Yeah black laces would look sick. As I keep looking at the skate the red just looks out of place. I guess will have to see them with all of his stuff on.

This may sound funny but after looking through one of my books that has a bunch of pics of old time hockey players my 8 year old said he thought it would be cool if the players had brown leather gloves like in the old days. He also said that they could use the chrome (plastic) holders like on Torspo skates and they would look kind of like the old metal holders from years ago. I think I might sign him up for the Winter Classic design team for next year.

Anyone see Kane's nameplate on his stick? It said 'Candy Kane'...also, I loved the way he had a whole in the back of his head cover so his mullet hung out. Kid is hilarious.

They showed it at one point during the game it looked like the red stripe down the back [like the yellow on retail one95's] was "candy caned"

EDIT: Found a pic.

I also noticed the "Candy Cane" name on his stick and the hair protruding thru the touque he wore, pretty funny

i think kane's skates are pretty nice, they didn't look too flashy in anyway

Based on the original video...I was expecting a much whiter skate...they looked (at least on TV, to me) more silver/grey than white.

Ah, Pic #7 here: http://www.gettyimages.com/Search/Search.a...e&src=quick shows the white/grey mix a little better

That's what I thought also, if they were white, the skates would've stood out a lot more, even his laces are whiter then the skates!

Kane was supposedly suffering from a sore ankle from the previous game against detroit. would've been nice to see him light it up!

those prices seem about right. well in canada that's about how much the one95 sticks are goin for retail anyways.

unless it's an auction, it'll be well over!

does anyone find it wierd that the skates are not double stiched ?

#2 stiffness(retail) is single stitched. #3 stiffness is double stitched. This is a game worthy skate but is truly offered as a collectible item.
