The Sulli R+ I got from Buzz isn't concave. I thought it was supposed to be a concave kevlar shaft with XN10 blade? It definitely has an XN10 blade on it, but is not concave.

Also, does anyone know how long the taper is? It seems to start way up on the shaft.

I think the concave shape on the XN10 is fairly subtle, as is the R2 shaft. Perhaps we're reading too much into the "Extreme" concavity marketing.

Maybe that particular Response+ was custom made in the square and the retails will be the XN10 shape?

When I heard "extreme" I thought it would be noticeable but the first time I tried it out I was fine, both with the xn10 and with the R2.

I could definitely notice it in the XN10. Then again, it wasn't a huge difference from the 1100's and XX's I've been using. The R+ just doesn't have that shape at all. It still feels nice as hell and the SW flex is incredible.

I'm thinking it was a custom job, but shouldn't his XN10 be the same way?

Ive GOT to get myself a SW xn10 w/grip when there's one. Im sure that'll be my ideal flex. Granted I just bought one those Hull shafts off ebay but I guess there's always room for another stick.

Last I heard Buzz had one more.

yeah but it was a response + for 155 or whatever. Rather wait for an XN10 that I just can just make into a shaft if I dont like the curve.

Word on the street is that Sulli's sticks are custom...last year's shape, however this year's blade.

Ya, that is right. I was asking Matty El about them when he was with the hawks last month.

I was asking Elly about that and he said a few things in regards to sticks/equipment I found interesting.

Most intersting to me is that any player can take a glove they like, and if they are representing a specific company, that company will basically copy it and put their name on it. Within reason. Tough to copy z airs and write Bauer.

He said that Easton wants him to try the Synergy skates this summer. I didn't know they even pay guys in the A to wear their gear. If he uses easton sticks/gloves/skates he will get money and golf clubs from easton.

I dont play golf still but is it me or can a round of golf pretty much solve anything?

Like JR said Im sure there are patent issues, but also Im sure it happens so much between companies that its practically a wash.

As JR posted yesterday, Sulli's shafts are custom made for him.

With regards to Finley's gloves being copies of the CP94's, we have our own designs. We don't use patterns from other companies to make gloves for players. The tapered fingers on Finner's gloves alone would be a huge difference from that of the Eagle's.

Just weighed it. It's 454 without a plug and my tape job. That's just a little more than the XN10 and right with the XX and 1100's.

Also, it has a 30 day warranty, despite the fact that it's a pro stick.

Again the SW flex is great.

That's a HG1 with a thin cuff roll.  But if that's what you wanna believe...

I was kidding around. I do realize that the gloves are not knockoffs of an Eagle design. However, there is no denying the fact that they look very similiar.

I think that many of the 4-roll gloves like that look alike. Our design on the HG1 goes back to when it was called (sku'ed) the GTPSNHL.

With the HGT design, we added finger breaks, as well as the tapered fingers.

In the end, many gloves, not only these, might look alike.

It's hard to make a glove traditional, yet unique in appearance. I like the idea of a traditional glove with updated features.

Does any one know where I can get pro return response +'s? In a lefty of course.

Heck if anyone has a good lead on a lefty with a nice heel curve with a loft and 5 to 5.5 lie that would be great as well.

Thanks,
