RBK 10k vs. CCM u+cl

Recommended Posts

The CL is a bit lighter than the 10K, I don't have exact numbers for the 10K but I know the CL is 405 grams.

I have both sticks and I personally like my U+ better, but it's really personal preference, their both high end sticks so your best bet is to try them out at an LHS when they come out.

i hate to hijack the thread, but what curve is sakic-ish in ccm/rbk. I'd like to try both of these put (esp the cl).

The CL is the Mexican flyweight of composite sticks with the 10K being like a cruiserweight

Cant be that much of a difference....the 10K is a very light stick

No Sakic clone for CCM/RBK. Unless one has been added recently that I am unaware of.

New Lecavalier is close. For Reebok, possibly the Crosby will be close but who knows at this point?

I have a Reebok 10K A1T shaft with a One95 (P92) blade in it. I really like it and find it well balanced and light.. Very comparable to my Easton Stealth CNT OPS in feel and weight. It could be different for others though..

Not to mention their crap for blades. TT, what stick were you using the last time we played together? I was too busy checking out your skates all night.

They seem to be heavily heel patterns. While the Sakic isn't a true toe curve, it is the closest one easily available at retail and CCM/RBK just doesn't seem to want to offer one like it. The only Lecavalier's I've seen have been heels, but I haven't looked recently.

Aren't they Pro-stocks? Probably Player X got somewhere, was able to get customs/pro-stocks, and decided to stick with the Sakic pattern he grew up playing with when he finally got the chance to get any curve he wanted from RBK...err Reebok.

What about the Datsyuk curve?? I don't know, every time I pick one up it reminds me of those old Chimo brand sticks, like a Yugo car, might not be completely unsightly, steering wheel feels nice, but it's just feels weird. Anyway the only curve I've not been able to cringe at is the retail datsyuk but I still put it back on the rack.... And it looks like it is going to continue.

anyway would like to know how they stack up to s17, v10-v8, one 95
