If you mean the red ones from last year, I saw them at one of the Hockey Experts, can't remember which one, within the last week.

in my opinion, the 85 flex is a lower end 85 flex, it gets whippier after a bit of time, uncut, its easily about 82...

I got the AK27 grip last week from icewarehouse.com for $109

Also at

totalhockey.net

Yeah $109 US = $135 CDN plus shipping/duties and the wait....might as well support the local LHS for us Canadians

:P true, always helps to support the LHS. I still haven't seen the shafts in any shops down here in Southern California. Our two big shops here wont have them till next month at the earliest (hockey monkey/hockey giant). So I was surprised to see it at Icewarehouse.com (which is located Northern California). Well, technically my gf saw it and bought it as a b-day gift.

Of course, they didn't have any of the new blades in stock except for one pattern, which I don't use.

What do I bump into 2 weeks ago while at my rinks shop, a whole set of the 09 AK27 blades, but no shafts... didn't get any. Odd way to stagger the rollout of the new warrior equipment, but whatever. I just bought it seperately and put it together last week. Great stick btw. Came from a Stealth CNT and I'm loving the feel on this new stick.

My only concern is the durability of the graphics and soft grip. After my first stick time, they were already peeling off. Been peeling off slightly more each time I take it out. Don't know if its normal to have it peel so easily. Never happened with my CNT, at least not without taking a few slashes to it first. Sucks since I do like the grip and the look of the stick quite a bit. Is this normal for Warrior stick to peel so easily?

Graphics arent too big a deal, the stick is black anyways and black underneath. Just wondering if loosing the grip so easily is a big deal or common with these sticks.

Not sure how it compares to the Mission, but versus my CNT grip, its not tacky at all. Very light finish, almost like a light powder feeling.

i'm glad i decided to keep my prostock kaberle's with the grip on them after the blades on both totally exploded. seeing how expensive the ak27 shaft is in my lhs, i think i got a good deal on them when i bought'em
