Cage recommendations

Prompt, please the size (height and width) cage CCM FM480 sizes M and L? I would like to order a helmet RBK 8K size M, and I do not know what the size of the cage, I like this helmet?

Anybody use the RBK Cage? Thinking about picking up the 6k combo and it only comes with the RBK cage. How is the quality/vision/chin cup on it?

Ive got an rbk cage. Pretty much just like the ccm/jofa cage with a different chin cup (which I actually prefer over the floating style) vision and quality is good as well.

9500's are an embarrassment, ugliest thing ever. I hate the chin cups too. The 6k looks decent, i tried the cage on, the lhs didnt have larges.

To the poster above, both should fit on but i would go with the medium.

S-17 cage is not too bad either. Good field of vision and light. A bit lower profile than the CCM/RBK cages. Sits closer in to the face than CCM, Itech or Bauers cages but not annoyingly so. No complaints about the one on my S-9 helmet.

Just switched over to the 9500 cage from the Oakley Pro Straight Small and I love it. Vision is great and getting used to wearing took one warm up session before a game. I know a lot of people aren't too fond of the 9500 cage, but I have no complaints here.

Ive got an rbk cage. Pretty much just like the ccm/jofa cage with a different chin cup (which I actually prefer over the floating style) vision and quality is good as well.

I like my RBK cage but am thrown off by the chin cup. It seems to small to hold my chin, it feels like my chin keeps sliding in and out of it. Do I not have it adjusted right? Any recommendations on how to fix it or any way to adjust it so that I can get used to it a bit faster? Thanks

ive been using a chrome jofa/ccm fm480 for 6 years. thing is amazing. i doubt i could use anything else. ive heard the itech one with the two tone bars is pretty good as well (not sure of the model).

Anyone have an idea where I can find an old school cage, its got a cat-eye kind of set-up.

Allot of use in the 70'2 and early 80's. I'd like to get one of those if I could locate one?

I have a 480 on the ccm and much prefer it, i really dont like the 9500 at all. Not only because its a bit on the ugly side but because of how it handles impacts. I got hit in the face by the boards (checked from behind but not real hard) and it gave me a bruise all along my chin. Wtf? The 480 to me seems to have better vision, however it isnt quite as light.

The bruise might be from not wearing the cage properly. Hopefully you're not one of those people that has it hanging 6 inches off their face.

Also is the 480 longer then the stock vector facemask because i tried on vector and it felt short compared to most cages

What's the deal with the rbk cage?! It looks just like the 480 but it dents all the time and it's way too long proportionally. One came with my 8k, and I thought I'd just use it, but my chin barely reaches the cup

you realize that you can flip the top clips to shorten the rbk cage right?
